Working with Wurpl is a collaborative process. While every project will vary, typical steps in the design process include:

• An initial meeting to outline the primary and secondary goals of the website, to identify the intended tone and feel design, and to take stock of what content already exists and what content needs to be revised or created;
• Design mockups that begin as pen and paper sketches and develop in consultation with the client into digital composites that will serve as guides for the final website design;
• An initial coding of the site in XHTML and CSS that will transform the digital composite into a true website, followed by subsequent revisions made in consultation with the client; and finally,
• A post-design optimization of the website that will make the site more readily discoverable by Google, Yahoo!, and MSN search, as well as the development of a plan for advertising and publicizing the launch of the new or redesigned site.
